Toyota is well known for going above and beyond to keep its customers happy, and we’re seeing yet more evidence of this commitment in the run-up to summer this year. Many UK motorists swear by the company’s Auris model, and Toyota has now announced several updates to its Auris range in an attempt to spread the word and entice more people.
Perhaps the most exciting announcement is the new Icon Plus grade, which boasts rear privacy glass and 16-inch alloy wheels, as well as a new Tungsten Blue finish. The improvements aren’t just cosmetic, however. The interior now features heated sports seating as well as Toyota Touch 2 with Go multimedia and sat nav package. Cruise control is also promised on selected petrol and hybrid models.
And the Auris Hybrid range has not been neglected in this latest announcement, which is hardly surprising, considering that hybrid versions of the car now outsell its petrol and diesel variants. Environmentally-minded drivers will be pleased to know that the Auris Hybrid range has been extended to include the aforementioned Icon Plus trim level, which will be offered in both the hatchback and Touring Sports editions.
Prices range from £14,945 – £23,990 depending on the model you choose, while the first customer deliveries are expected in June.
